After each event we use Fabreeze Anti-Bacterial spray ... and then dry them out in front of a fan or outside facing the sun.

With as much use as our helmets get, we're getting new 2005 sticker helmets and replacing them in 2015, at the latest. Good deals available in those 2005 sticker helmets
Your not wearing open face helmets for time trials are you?

Karen and I went to extremesupply.com in Long Beach this morning. Karen got a new version of her M-3 Bell, SA2005 ... for only $275 ... something like $50 off of their online price!

Unfortunately they are very low on Bell helmets and have no SA 2010 Bells. The PyroTech's that I tried on I didn't really like.

I'm going to mail order a SA2005 Bell M-4. I want the wide eye opening of that model. I like the idea of being forced to buy a new helmet after 5 years, so I'll take advantage of the sales on the SA2005 models.

CA2005 or SA2005? My guess is if your tracking the car you want an SA rated helmet. I am not aware of a snell CA rating.
