Doug,
You did a great job. PSCC did indeed have a 4 ring circus and you deserve kudos for being the Ring Master.
Sunday was a tough day but everybody made it through.
I wanna particularly thank Art Grant for the time he spent with me at the gate on both Saturday and Sunday. We had some good talks and found out that on SAturday it only rained hard when there were multiple cars backed up at gate. The sign in sheets seemed to have held up to the rain OK. Thanks to all of the other gate people as well. Sunday was not fun I'm sure.
I want to also specifically thank Jayson for taking over gate for me after sitting out there for group 3 and lunch and the start of group 4. From what I just read, group 4 must have gone on forever. Sorry I had to bail. Hopefully your Prius didn't get too sand-blasted sitting out there and hopefully not too many crazy people wanted to come in and watch in that weather.
I know for me getting in and out of my car with the height and the wind was not an easy thing to do.

Sitting in my car listening to basketball at the gate was not exactly the toughest gig for the 4th group. You 4th group outside workers are my hero's.
I just kept thinking: I wonder what it's like out at Fontana right now.

Kudos to Doug and everybody that stepped up to help out.
I'd also like to thank Mike Simanyi for a truly challenging course that left me frustrated and wishing for another 20 attempts to try and get it right.

Thanks,

Yeah, I wasn't the one who picked that stuff up this time. It's all (your stuff and CSCC's stuff) in a pile on the kitchen table seat. None got put away into their boxes.

I can answer that since I spent all day outside at the Bass Pro Shop in Rancho Cucamonga!
Dry Sunday morning when I arrived at 8:00am. Breeze was light (thank God) all day. Rain started about 11:30, varied from none to drizzle most of the day, with occasional light rain, thankfully only two 10-15 minute downpours. Then DUMPED as we tore down at 7pm, and continued on the entire drive back to El Toro to return the program cars, and pick up our rides.

Way to pull it off given all the challenges.
Great organization Doug.
Loved the course.
And a congrats to Mark DeShon for outdriving the rest of STX ( including 2 previous National Champions ) for the win.
And thanks to Toby for the whoopin'

Thanks Tom, for giving me the car and the instruction to make that possible. Early indicators point to STX being a fun, closely battled class this year with all the fast cars and former champions.
And yes, the course was awesome!

I loved the crooked three cone slalom in the back!.... you know, the one I completely F-ed up on my last run.

Great job, Mike!

I wonder if Marshal could figure out what the difference would be in distance instead of time, I bet it is less than a foot.
more like 2 feet.

Some outstanding issues from the March 20th event:
1) We are evaluating a provisional re-run. (ST CLASS)
2) We need to have a pre-event check off sheet (fire bottles, extra cones and red flags on course before 8:00 AM etc... )
3) Temporary Membership forms (filled out and blank) need to be in a defined location in the motor home. The misplaced forms need to be found and recorded.
4) The batteries for the lights need to be replaced, maintained and or or proven to be in working order.
5) We need to fill the gas cans.
