That's a little different question that Mikes, but the L's are all taken care of in the same way as the open classes. The only exception is HIST, where we will run HIST-open, but not HIST-L since I don't see anyone running there.

Since this will be both a Divisional and count toward local points, do we have provision for people running in their proper National class, yet gaining points for the local class in which they're competing? I'd like Max to be able to run STU in the Divisional and still earn points for the SM championship, and I doubt he's the only person with this problem.
Mike
Yep.
Max is on that list, Michael P, you were until you jumpped classes. It was posted on the old board and will get re-posted in an FAQ I'm working on.

Hi Jay - I have the same problem - since Max is hopping into STU he bumps me to STU Ladies

I don't think you're in the same situation as Max, he's special. He's competiting locally in SM with his STU car, but he's competiting Divisionally in STU. So when the 'Events come together' at El Toro, he needs to run 'both' classes. The plan is to have him sign up in STU for the divisional, but then move his results into SM for local points. It's simpler than it sounds. I have a similar situation with Michael P in SK and HS and maybe some of the HIST guys, etc.
The PAXers and CPM (open and Ladies) will all get indexed against each other (despite running at different times) post-event to get a local points result.

Hehe, annie is pretty much the same as max, she runs STU localy and STUL divisionaly. So she's run STUL at the divisional and need to have he local points moved to STU after the fact.
And annie, this is the Jayson you need to talk to about Silver L's ;)

Yup, I'm in the same boat as Max. And yes he's special

Apparently Aaron's the only normal one in the car! But I'm thankful I don't have to run STUL locally (I call it the poo class, courtesy of its not so pleasant acronym!) so I'm really not complaining!
Jay - could you shoot me an e-mail at annie_bauer AT yahoo DOT com?

I remember Stacey winning STUL at the San Diego Tour.... I didn't know if it meant she was regular or what.

She's just lucky Paul didn't get a chance to change STUL to SLUT on the side of the car like he wanted to...

Yeah San Diego has been hold about a 5 entrant lead. Get those entries in, or I'll never hear the end of it from Mark!
Also, a Test & Tune period has been confirmed for Fri from 2 to 5pm. Cost is not set in stone, but $2/run is expected plus a short work assignment. This should be a larger test & tune course than what is typical at National Tours, boardering on the length of a normal event course. This was added to the FAQ.

Any idea on when the run order will be published? I have something else I have to do the weekend of the El Toro Div and it would help to know. Thanks.

Ah... that much notice then.
If someone were to let slip when they plan on running CSM, that would be cool.

As in early would be awesome.
