Stayed there for the last event, the room was quite nice.

Woud the Saturday, 2pm "On-Site Training/Course Set Up" involve actually driving the course, or would driving the course only be for Sunday? Just wondering whether I should just bring my daily driver on Saturday.

Thursday is the deadline for registering for the school. If you haven't registered, now would be the time.

If you're wondering if this course is the right one for you, the answer is YES!

I had a great time too. Ditto on the thank you to KJ and Mike. A big thanks also goes to Roger and his presentation which was both entertaining and informative. Also, a big thanks to Kumho for picking up some of the costs and to Brian Robertson for the safety steward presentation. A special thanks goes out to Tom Tanquery and Bill Schenker for recording the event for future aspiring course designers. And last of all, thanks to those that came out to test drive the course on Sunday. We don't get to drive in the wet all that often so the experience was especially satisfying.

OMG ... how can Berry Courses get even better!

For those who would like to try their hand at sketching out a course, attached is a properly scaled map of the AutoClub Speedway lot.

I'll ask the moderators to put a sticky thread somewhere (or perhaps a download link off the main site) where we can host this and the El Toro blank design maps.

While we're on the subject of course design, would one of you aspiring course designers like to take on the Thanksgiving weekend course? We've already have volunteers from the class to do the December event. Now's your chance to get your feet wet in a no pressure setting.

Nice scale map. What I would do is make a much light copy so that the parking spot lines don't distract. It would be better w/o the parkIng spots, but 4 the actual course set-up it's nice to know the parking line spacings

I'm not sure how we will distribute it. It likely depends on the final product. But yes, it was filmed with the intent of being for public use. I suspect Tom will need some time to get through editing.
