Update -November 5 - original posting edited w/latest news.

I talked to Renee on the phone yesterday. She sounded fairly well except for a bit of morphine :gpower:. We talked for about 5 or 10 minutes. She stressed that all this has nothing to do with cancer. "The cancer is gone!" She got pneumonia and has other complications requiring everyone's full attention at this particular hospital which specializes in longer term care. Because she has been bed ridden, she cannot walk. They are working on that. She indicated that she feels she'll be at Kindred for at least another 3 weeks. I jokingly said "So you will probably not be at the Ladies School at the end of the month. She said "You might be surprised". We hope and pray that is the case.

Does she need or want anything, audio books, e-reader, magazines?

I talked to Renee yesterday...she sounded alot better. She says she will be transferring soon to Casa Colina for inpatient physical therapy. I will let you know when she does. She says she may be at the Ladies School - let's hope, as long as it isn't too soon.
