NOT a problem. Back in the day, when the real Cannonball had taken place (Brock Yates/Dan Gurney et al), I had a Fiat 124 Sport Coupe, a GREAT road car. I left central New Jersey heading west. Except for 3 hours of sleep in Oklahoma City, with two drivers we arrived in Fullerton, Ca. in 39 hours, 22 minutes.

Four days later, we made the return trip. But not nearly as fast.

Crazy ... when my son's class had to be bussed back from Virginia after 9/11, THREE bus drivers got them back to LA in 36 hours, with only meal breaks

That must have been a logistical nightmare placing the replacement drivers at locations 10 hrs apart (driving time), to keep on trucking.
