T-Day bright spots, Steve and my son Max. Karen is moving around much better. Hope to go home soon, as soon as pain management away from the IV is dealt with.

Chemo's working. Karen is at her nadir ... point of lowest white cell count (killed off with the cancer cells by the chemo) ... so NO Visitors for a while.
But Karen was delighted that Terry Free and Cynthia came by today. NASA TT National Champ with his ST prepared C6, auto crossed with us for a while with his '71 Vette show car. After six years and six destroyed engines Terry's taking a break from road racing. Also because NASA is apparently going for separate West Coast and East Coast National Championships in 2014, with all of the class winners meeting mid-country for a Trophy Dash with a Miata. Terry feels that would be unfair to everyone except the Miata racers. I told him he should go SCCA next year so he can compete in the Run-Offs at Laguna Seca.

It's was nice, considering, but good to go home last night. Kati covering for me today & tomorrow while I get a break, working. 18 weeks of outpatient chemo plus visits to apparently the world authority on T-Cell lymphoma @ UCLA, & weekly visits to the PalliCare doc

You're in great hands at UCLA. Their hospital is world class. My dad was there and we were very impressed with both the facilities and the staff.
