Dilettante!
This might be the first practice I have missed in 10 years!

I was confused because I didn't know what Dilettante meant!

I've registered for the Autocross Sunday like normal, but I'm getting the following message "Although online payment is optional, your registration is not complete until payment is received." AND I'm not showing up in the Attendee List.. I've refreshed, closed the browser, and reopened etc, but I'm not getting added. In my dashboard,I show as registration complete, but do you have to pay by Credit Card /Paypal now just to show up on the registered list?

Forecast is for rain in Irvine for the PRACTICE. Please cancel Sharon's entry IF she was on the list.

How do we cancel our entry and get a refund?

It doesn't rain in Southern California anymore. Didn't you hear about climate change? Prolonged drought? The end of the world due to man's greed?

Trust me, its not going to rain.

Much.

You can run in the rain if you want to, but I don't.

Please cancel my registration.

I don't see you registered for either the Practice or Sunday. But in either case, credit cards have not been charged yet.

Run Order posted.

CLICK FOR RUN ORDER

Apologies to STR and STU for having to leave you in the morning session. Had to do something to balance out the big group you were in last event. Groups are balanced based on current online registration.

Everybody can't cancel as they wish though? Can they? The region will go broke. Or at least PSCC.

Cancellations are good. I've had 110 people who want in to an event with about an 80 car limit.

Street tires are fine with me and I'd be happy to run time only/off heat. Can offer set up help/driver coaching or keep my mouth shut if that's what you'd prefer. :)

It's just me, Denise and son Ryan are heading to the beach/aquarium. Please reply to cashmo at hotmail dot com.

Thanks,

OMG, God has come to Socal to grace us with his presence??? I wish I could be here this weekend and be graced by his holiness!!! Socal folks, be sure to get a baptism from him with holy tire water if you see him. Just don't look straight into God's eyes.

(The God thing is a Chicago/Milwaukee joke.)

Really wish I could be here this weekend, but as much as I love autox at el Toro, I think going to Carnaval in Rio is more important than autox.

Btw, when do I have to cancel my practice reg by?

James

I hope it rains on Saturday! Rain practice! We don't get it that often here in sunny SoCal. Then I hope it clears for Sunday so Team Berry/Grice doesn't destroy us by 3 seconds. }:)

we might be fast in the rain but on index everything stock or st will destroy us. ...unless we happen to have a GS AWD car to drive. }:)

Darn it, I knew I should have signed up for this practice. Being the AWD person that lost to a 2WD car in the rain, I need rain practice badly! I will gladly be a walk up/ last minute additon if it gets to that point with the cancellations.

What? That +400HP doesn't do anything for you in the wet? I'm sorry... }:)

yes it does do something, it gets us up to our hydroplaning speed faster than most cars. ...turns out that's not incredibly useful while racing. having the softest index is still the biggest advantage in the rain.

Just go to Motorsportreg.com and cancel your registration before Wednesday midnight. Credit cards won't be charged until Thursday.
