if they eat gophers.. they'd be my new favorite animal.

anyone got a good, surefire way to rid of gophers? i saw a few online video of the gas-injecting-blow-upper method, but didn't think that method would work very well in an urban setting with underground utilities and stuff..

the mounds in my front yard really really piss me off though.

anyone tried one of those thumper things that they sell at Home Depot? seems pretty gimmicky..

You could try flooding their burrow, but you'd have to block all the exits. I wonder if the bigger model of Rat Zapper would work.

When I was growing up in Chicago, the Park District had a method of dealing with rats. Find and plug all but two holes. Insert hose connected to exhaust pipe of large truck, 3-4 guys with headless golf clubs stand round remaining hole, impaling escaping rats. Probably some German came up with the method. }:)
