Agreed. A program should have very FEW exceptions, or at least have a base module then modularize it. Well in that case I have to figure out my percentages as I was membership chairman and assistant webmaster so I add up both those and see what I get. Thanks Rick.
You do know the reward system has been revised? Plus the online system actually does it as a dollar amount discount, which we will round to the nearest dollar. However, you still fall under the old system.

I believe so, but that system voted in 2009, will apply for 2010 correct?
Rick Brown wrote:However, you still fall under the old system.
Based on the above, yes as Art recommended that the membership chairman get 50% starting in 2010 but for now I'm under:
** EXECUTIVE BOARD MEMBER (other than above) 25%

So it's 25% a piece so 50% total. Half of $55 = $27.50. Not bad. I'll print out the discount percentages and bring to registration (which should be there anyway to remind people working registration...which in this case since it's my club, that would be me, and Curt and some others).

Wait wait wait! You're going to show up for an event!?!?!? Seriously, introduce yourself. I'm driving the large white non-BMW four-door

$55?? Do you mean $30 for class plus $25 for X-runs? I don't do registration, but I believe the standard is the discount only applies to the primary entry so it's $15 plus $25 = $40.

It's my club....of course I have to be there.
And the curiosity of people not knowing who I am (other than the boards) I find intriguing.

I was actually e-mailed by someone else asking if I was going to be there.

Yes that is correct. Didn't know the standard applied only to primary entry but I'm fine with that. $40 it is and I'll pay at the event though I'd love to pay online but it is $15 difference. Hopefully AXWare will make those changes in the future.

I just started to figure out registration and me being a computer programmer even I didn't find it intuitive until reading Christine's well thought out directions. It's creating the other car (same one actually) and assigning it a different index (in this case for X-runs) that helped out. So now I see I get $30 for competition timed runs, $25 for X-runs. But the question that Steve brought is.....what about incentives for the Solo Committee and E-Board members? Are we better off paying onsite?
We're still working on the online payment for those with discounts. I expect it by the event after PSCC. So, for the 4 or 5 people who have requested my approval of the discount, yes, the best option is pay on site.

You might print out this (in color so the bold red part can be seen)
viewtopic.php?f=25&t=1338" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.
I'll give Curt a list of those eligible for discounts prior to the event.
Also, note that the discount only applies to primary runs.

As in the past, the discount is applied after the full year of service.

For us that do not go that often and would like to have a printed event flyer for reference at the event, is there an easy way to do this that I am missing?
Thanks
Kristoffer

Log in to axware
Enter the event in question
highlight the text in the top box (click and drag down, a control A will select the entire page, which is not what you want)
control - C (or edit - copy) command -d for mac users
open up word or notepad or some other similar program
control - V (or edit - paste) command - V for mac users
resize as desired
print
fold into pocket size
don't forget to bring it

Eh, yeah, I know I can do that, but that is not an "easy way", and it does not include the run order (and the additional info on the axware event page)....
I was just asking to see if I missed an obvious and easy way of doing it.

You can now specify your choice in the My Garage section as part of each car entry. Just click on the edit button for each car and put a T or $ in the T/$ column.
Do it now!

So it would be nice if we could consolidate all this into one post now, delete the rest and then lock it. Christine? Please? Pretty Please? You did such a nice job initially. Expecting somebody new to wade through 65 posts is a bit ridiculous.

Steve is the author of the first post, he could edit it to include all the info..

Isn't Christine's 2nd post pretty much complete? I could paste that in place of mine. Anything else needed?

It's a pain job for anyone. Copy Christine's post (detailed step by step instructions) but update with whatever was useful in the following 64 posts.
What do you want to read, a lawyer's version or an engineer's version?

That's like asking whether I want a fork in my eye or a swift kick in the family jewels.

That's an easy question - which do you still use?

So are you having specific issues or is that just a general opinion on the system as a whole?

Oh oh Oh..... Try managing 5 drivers with multiple car and class options and different pricing.....
I've yet to get it completely right. I really have no idea how much I've over or under paid.
