I think they might have forgotten to remove the NOV panel when Sonny ran. His video's are posted ... on the video thread for the event. Sonny's gone from road racing to AX to Drifting and now he's back AX'ing.

If he ran with the wrong class or numbers on his car, aren't all his runs DSQ?

I saw that's how it worked when the SCCA folks were here.

I entered Sonny's number incorrectly at registration. It was figured out towards the end of the run group. We got it corrected, but they didn't have time to post updated results.

That's National level. We don't (nor are required to) enforce all rules in the rule book at the Regional level. The only things you get a DSQ for are not working and having a passenger (other than an instructor) on a class run. If we fully enforced the number rule (8" numbers with 1.5" stroke and high contrast with the background) a lot of people would not be allowed to run.
Since light is faster than sound...many people look bright until they speak...

Actually this is part of the Tour and Pro supp regs. So it's not even in the national rule book.
