Like others Renee, I don't know what to say. I really hate that "C" word.

So sorry to hear Renee......my thoughts and prayers are with you. Please try and take some comfort in the fact knowing that you are loved and respected by many in the solo2 community. I wish there was something I could do. You have always been there with a kind word for me and made me feel at home at the track right from the start. Please keep fighting!!

Wow, no words come to mind. All I can think about is how the solo community will (and is) rally around you just as they did 15-16 years ago when our good friend Laurie Davis LaPlante went through what she did. I'm sure you will be just as fiesty with your battle, and remember, the power of positive thinking and will to continue will make a difference.

Thinking good thoughts for you

Renee, Dave and I are here for you and a mere phone call away. Keep your fighting spirit up and ready for battle!
My father was told at least three times that he had 3 months or less, and three times the doctors were wrong! Our family firmly believes that it was his strong will and positive attitude that made the difference. You are loved by so many people upon whom you can count to help you get through this! I would also like to encourage our Solo community to share stories of those who have beaten cancer - there are so many out there! Every day, there are new breakthroughs in medicine, each of which brings hope. I also believe the difference is also linked to those special doctors or other health care providers who don't give up. It takes a team effort. Renee - I am on your team! Love, Lisa

Renee, I'm not very often speechless but this time I am.... almost. As others have said, I know your well-known positive, kick butt (not the word you would use) attitude will get you through this. This is a real challenge for you I know but your solo family, currently and historically, is right there in your corner. Hang in there Boom Boom. You are in our prayers.

Reneé,

While certain cancers do advance and are incurable, there are treatments to suppress spreading these diseases. My sister was also diagnosed with liver & breast cancer (although smaller than yours) and is on a life-long treatment to suppress the disease. Elizabeth Edwards (wife of the VP candidate) was also diagnosed with stage 4 (incurable) breast cancer and is on cancer suppressing treatment. As they say, cancer may not be cured, but cancer can be treated. Don't be afraid to ask for another opionion.

FYI The City of Hope Hospital in Duarte is one of the best cancer research hospitals in the country.

You are in my thoughts and prayers. Stay strong.

Tony

I don't even have the words to adequately convey my thoughts. Please know that you will be in my prayers. And I believe in miracles.
