WEEKEND TEMPORARY MEMBERSHIPS ARE ALWAYS AVAILABLE AT LOCAL SCCA EVENTS.

As Christine said, I will be at Registration (thank you Christine.) I usually stay until the first few cars have run, but I always leave behind some forms, just in case.

Remember, ANYONE who participates, drivers AND passengers must be SCCA members. Passengers are FREE. Drivers cost $15. Both drivers and passengers are entitled to a $15 discount on a full membership, if the membership form is sent in within 60 days. I will give you a membership form at registration, if interested. You are entitled to use 2 temp membership #'s for discount if used within 60 days. (Some people can use their temp # from the last event for a discount.) I also include on the form my name and member # which counts as a member referral and entitles you to an additional $15 discount.

Memberships are good for 12 months, NOT a calendar year, and cost:
Individual members - $80
spouse members - $28
family memberships - $121 (includes all members of the family until they reach 21 - then they have to become individual or first gear members)
first gear members - $45 (anyone 24 years old or younger)

I hope this helps - see you saturday!

Will you be accepting any walk-up registration (check or cash) for Aug 8? I've been out of town and don't have a check with me - I may be back in time to participate :).

At this point it makes sense to pay a the event. I need to know names though for planning, so email me and Curt (or just me after tonight). People with names on the list will get priority over those who just show up.

This is my last update of the list. If you don't see your name I either didn't get your check or you did not relay any other info to KJ or myself. KJ now has all of the Happy Fun Ball duties. Be warned that he once threw a guy out of a window and when I asked him why he said, "Because..."

That was Dwyndle Nelms. It was because he wouldn't shut up. We were only about 7 feet off the ground, but there was grass so I figured he would survive the fall. The chemistry teach agreed with my position and didn't send me to the principals office.

Odd request. Is there anyone at this practice that drives a newer Miata? I have to quickly test something and it requires a late model MX-5 with working OBD. Thanks!

I'm not sure that one can refer to Max's hamfisted efforts as "driving."

Hey! I'm the only one that gets to use Ham Fisted to describe my driving ... as bequeathed to me by Sir Berry :gpower:
