So all of you guys that are registering, do you all have the $45 Solo License thing that lets you register early? If so, when will I be able to register without having one of those?

You don't need that. I registered without it.

That's only if you want to register more than 60 days before the Event. I think we're at 37 or so days right now.

When I go here: http://scca.com/event.aspx?hub=3&event=15172" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and click on-line registration, it doesn't take me to anywhere I can register. After I log in and go to the Events tab -> Solo I get this message:
SCCA members who are Solo License holders will have access to registration for any Solo event 75 days prior to the event. This will be approximately two weeks earlier than members who are not Solo License holders. Specific registration dates will be listed on the individual event webpage.

If the event you desire to register for does not appear in the menu for you it means one of two things; 1) you are not a Solo License holder 2) the event is not yet open for registration.

To become a Solo License holder, please call 800-770-2055 and speak to Member Services. Cost of a Solo License is $45/individual or $50/family.

Would you have a link to this Solo License? I found it mentioned on the SCCA site, but I cant seem to be able to find it in the Forms section. :?

The message says to call them to get one. She said it's mainly for people who want to go to the events that usually fill up (she mentioned Toledo and somewhere else, I forget). I got the impression the only way to get one was to call them (800 770 2055)

Hey, does anyone know if they require cars that are entered for competition to be kept in impound overnight? I'm considering taking my car to and from the event each evening and need to know if I should expect to get a ride to/from the event or if I can simply drive my car home.

Any takers?

Impound last about 20min to an hour after your runs. Some exceptions.

So, looks like as of right now, if Randy descides to run SSM and you move all the Prep cars over to R1 where they belong, John Edwards and Jeff Keisal would be lined up with each other in the first round of R1.

Can't SoCal come up with another FS car for the Pro? We're just one short of a class, if the '69 Mustang listed is correct...

I switched over to SSM. Either way I get my butt kicked, but I am not a fan of running against the EM index, specially with an SSM car running an XP index.

Looking forward to this. Shake off some rust. Learn how to drive the new car.

From my old stock 130hp, stock height, stock wheels car to a car with north of 300hp, turbo, 18x315 tires, etc etc etc.

A little bit of seat time will be required. I hope to find out this weekend.

Been a busy week. Got street tires and rims so car would fit on skinny trailer. Put the car on a trailer. Modified trailer so car would move forward and create some tongue weight. Got extra rims for rear. Waiting on extra rims for front. Set of new rains came in this morning. Drys this afternoon. Need to find source for 100octane gas and fill 4 jugs. Need to mount tires and figure out how to use the trailer tire rack.

Assuming all goes well, I will be in El Toro Saturday morning with the MR2.

And for Bill...
