Bump is a Pro Solo deal. If no one else shows for your class you get your average.Arthur Grant wrote:Although I clearly prefer El Toro, I really enjoyed myself, the company, the competition, the 4 runs, + 4 X runs made for a satisfying day. Getting to try R compound tires thanks to the generousity of Rita Wilsey, and with coaching from Tom Phillips felt pretty good. Didn't have a perfect run, but did get to a high 59 in a vette. The only sad part is the handicap giveth and it taketh away. Had the second best numbers in Novice and placed 7th.
The question I have is how would a bump group have worked if I had run BSP as the only car and not Novice BSP?

We don't do bumping. But there are a number of classes most cars can fit in. So you can just pick the one that you have the best chance of winningArthur Grant wrote:Although I clearly prefer El Toro, I really enjoyed myself, the company, the competition, the 4 runs, + 4 X runs made for a satisfying day. I have a question or two about this. I picked up so much glob of rubber on my tires from Wendover, so much that after my 4 runs there are still some leftToby Larsson wrote:I think I found your .045. Never had this much OPR before.Aaron Goldsmith wrote:45 thousanths?! come on!

I know this is going to sound really dumb, but you get your average?Aaron Goldsmith wrote:Bump is a Pro Solo deal. For once being in the last work group was a benifit. Big thanks to whomever went off and got the additional water it was a life saver.Doug Kott wrote:Yes, everything Tony said! (Except that I got easier duty working in the second group). Course was a nice combination of slow/fast sections, and easy to decipher. Seemed awful narrow in places, and that's in an MR2...Corvette guys must've really felt like they were threading a needle. The downhill, off-camber decreasing radius turn before the slalom was great...made you think and do lots of stuff mid-turn to get positioned for the slalom.Anthony Munoz wrote:Would like to thank NO$ for the fun event today. Especially appreciated the 4 runs we had today. Our run group worked the first group which lasted 2 hours but our small run group (3rd--combined into the 2nd run group) lasted less than an hour. Hope this doesn't become a regular habit![]()

Thanks for all the hard work, NO$-ers!

Re: May 29th-30th NO$ Practice/Championship
The way I remember it: If there is a class (at least 2 entrant's) for at least 1/2 of the events for the year, then for any events where you were the only entrant you will get the average of all your other events for points. This obviously can't be figured until the end of the year.Arthur Grant wrote:I know this is going to sound really dumb, but you get your average?Aaron Goldsmith wrote:Bump is a Pro Solo deal.
