I wanted to come up from San Diego for the practice on Sat.

At this point is the best thing to do to come up and try to register on site or mail in the form with check?

or am i way too late and try for next time?

WAY too late. Practices are subject to the hosting clubs entry methodology. In this case the host club members got priority and everyone else were lottery picks. Many (active) locals didn't get in. You can still come and do ride alongs, but it's VERY unlikely you would be able to get your own car in.

Wouldn't hurt to try the day of, though, but no guarantees at all you'll get in - I suspect those on the waiting list who show up have priority.

I have around 20 people on the waiting list. Any of those that show up will get first priority to take any no-show spots. Anyone on the "in" list that hasn't checked in by 8:15 will lose their spot unless they let me know in advance that they will be late.

I tried to register for event, but cannot for some reason. Why did we change registration programs? Looks like I will have to register at the event.

You have to create an account to register since there is no existing database with the new system.

Haven't actually "changed", we are just trying it out. There were a lot of complaints with the old system and issues with payment reconciliation. The new one looks better in this regard, and seems more user friendly, but there are some other issues to work out.

Hey, Lookin for someone who lives in the Glendale general area that would be willing to pick up 2 tires I bought from Mr. Delgato and bring them down to the event. I can give you a bit of money to cover your gas...

Henry and I are pretty close to Rad ... Daniel Yeung if even closer, right down the hill from Rad if we can coordinate with Rad

well i'd love to get them this weekend, otherwise it would probably mean a drive up to Glendale from HB. They are a couple of 315x18's so they aren't small.

Thanks for a fun course PSCC as well as a special thanks to the SK2 drivers. Hard to keep up with the front wheel drive PULLERS! Even with re-runs! :gpower:

Agree fun course, had fun working for Dave Barrish and with the team in Tech.

I didn't enjoy my practice much yesterday because my car was just evil. I now know what it feels like when V710's have said hasta la vista baby. Appreciate Mahi's instruction. The PSCC team did a great job of setting up and having the course ready on time, and runing the event. The course on Saturday and Sunday had a very different feel than the other El Toro courses I have run, the orginality was fun and challenging.

Thanks to all.

You deserve some decent tires ... Mihai, who has lots of practice with over the limit handling, thought your tires were :barf:

Yes, the course was fun! Congrats, Theo, on your very first course design, and all the hard work that entails. I thought it flowed much better on Sunday...a good mix of fast and tight elements, with a few "gotcha" sections, if I may quote Max. Having a fast-ish sweeper early on was a telling test of cold-tire behavior!!!

A huge thanks to Bill Schenker for letting me (slowly  ) drive the Schenkermobile, and for some excellent coaching on Saturday.  Apologies to the course worker who had to reset about 17 cones in that one corner.... (Mako threatened to blackmail me with photos) :D

Nice course Theo.

Did anyone happen to find number magnets on course? I lost a white 2 and a 7 during the fifth run group. Most likely in the crossover between sections one and two.

Thanks!

Thanks to all the club members for a fun weekend with great weather. We hope to finally make it home in the next couple of hours, as the last 3 have been spent sitting on I-10 in a freeway closure.

Theo did a great job on the courses, thanks for the effort.

When do the results usually get posted? Or are they already posted and I just can't find them?

Patience folks. It was a long weekend for Rick and PSCC. I suspect fatigue has taken it's toll on our timing guru. There will be an announcement when the results are posted.
