THERE WILL BE FOOD

There will be food available on site this weekend. The same food truck we have had at previous El Toro events, including the Pro Solo, will be on site to satisfy all your culinary desires. Good food in good quantity at a fair price. No need to go off site or drag a big cooler with you.

Any chance you could ask them to bring fish or shrimp for their yummy burritos? They've done so in the past....

Lincoln seems to offer us rain at all the wrong times. A rainy day at El Toro is great nationals practice. As much as I don't want to get Robert's new kart wet, I'm coming rain or shine with our new rains mounted. Surviving in a rainy heat may be everything when it counts.

Kencey will be there with wets and intermediates.

Bummed. Was looking forward to getting to run another MCAS. (Ran at Cherry Point in NC a bunch) but it looks like the car won't be done at the transmission shop till Friday. :( I dont think a new diff, clutch, and trans internals needs to see a hard day of autox without some break in time. :-\ boo.

Now that we've run down the surface at El Toro it might make a difference, but typically a mil-spec runway is very grippy. In fact AMCI use to complain that it was difficult for them to do wet testing because the times weren't very different from their dry times. I LOVE running in the wet!

Someone needs to tell her she can put her drivers side window up! That must have been a wet ride inside too.

Tom, thanks for the offer. Perhaps I can take a run in the BMW to compare it to Max's BRZ. Ideally I'd work 2 & 4 and run STX heat 3 and some TO runs heat 5 in a couple S2 cars if that's possible.

Yomski (everyone in SoCal has learned to call you Yomski, right?) I'm not sure the poor souls in Rio are prepared for the party tornado that will descend upon them from heaven above (or at least flight xxx). Please go easy on them and don't create a national incident.
