Yeah there is. I sent him the instructions on how to do it a while ago...
I also have instructions on locking your account Marshall.

Is it just me ... I don't really like the set of emoticons that come with this forum ... there seem to be better ones out there. Does one have a choice ... or is that it with this "design."

The tough part about getting cool smilies is finding them. if you want to scour the internet and find some cool ones you can attach them to posts or something so that the admins can find them easily. no promises of course but it will greatly increase the chances of it actually happening.

Shift-click = New Window
Ctrl-click = New Tab
Automatically opening in a new window - even better.

I like this set of Smilies from the Team Blew message board:

that image can't be added as a smiley though. I was thinking more like this

-
- banana.gif (1.57 KiB) Viewed 13610 times
the .gif can then be downloaded/uploaded to the server and the correct tag can be added with almost no brain power from the admins if they feel like doing it.

I've already deleted 3 posts on this because they were going to come off as too harsh.
I still haven't figured out how, so I won't post anything right now except for this.
Marshall already knows I'll make the changes to the way links work, he's just stirin the pot. Just like with the smileys, he just wants his stupid banana man so he's stirin there pot too.
Marshall, quit drinking and posting! :mrt:

I could always just turn off smileys, then you guys wouldn't have to worry about it.

Not to be a kill joy or anything but Aaron is still a volunteer and has a life and work that need to happen before working on the message boards. He didn't just come up with this in an hour and hap hazardly post it up, he spent a lot of time making sure that we could have a modern style message board and still use our current pre-registration system.
The links now open in seperate windows and it looks like you all can add any smilie that you find and they work just fine. Maybe if you're nice to him, Aaron( :king: ) will eventually grace you all with more smilies

Anyone notice that when in the email area we don't have a choice beyond "British English." I thought we won our independence from those guys!? Where are the other english options, like Spanglish, Pidgin, Ozark, Dutch english, etc ...
We've gone to far in catering to Max! I suspect Aaron is trying to make points with his Drive Owner.
