Thanks for the info, guys.
I hope to run SD/El Toro, but probably won't if FS doesn't make a class. Anyone running FS this year?

Just a heads up. My mailbox is running over with applications for the Jan 31 CASOC practice. A lot of people will be turned away I'm sure, so if there are still openings for Sunday the 25th you may want to take advantage. Tough to get in practices early in the year. It will get easier later on.

7 Sunday spots is all that's left.

I haven't seen anyone run FS Nationally from Cal Club since Scott McHugh in his Firebird 7-8 yrs ago. You bringing your Mustang Mike?
Dood, are you gonna eat that?

Can I assume this is a "Rain or Shine" event?

Yep, I'm bringing the Mustang this weekend so Jason can take some laps in it...that's also the car I plan on running this year, no car jumping for me in 2009...actually, with the current economic conditions and the state of the company we started last year, I may end up running a very limited autocross schedule and focus on business this year.

It is. Rain by itself isn't a big deal. High winds and/or cold temperatures are more complicated.

I ran El Toro last year in my F Stock Crown Vic, but it wasn't a full class, so we just got lumped in with another class or two. This year I'll only be driving my Miata.

Richard James sometimes runs FS in his 335i. Maybe Mary Pozzi in her Mustang coming down from SFR. A struggle to get to 5.

I know its only a practice, but for any reason do we need to run our numbers or class letters this weekend?

Couple last minute cancel requests, so I've opened up Saturday's reg again. Only two or three spots available on Saturday, and 6 or 7 on Sunday.
I'm going to shut down reg sometime afternoon tomorrow. Got to prep the list.

Should have some new blood in Evos entered, I had a thread going on the local SoCalEvos.com forums.

Here we see Max coaching one of the Suby Newbies on using ones front tires to slow down
(note that Max and I no longer own Suby's!)
