FWD won't work for Andi. Obviously, we have to work to get her in RWD where there are many more competitive opportunities for her to go topless.

What!? And give up that soft PAX you've cultivated so carefully?

Why? Wouldn't it just spread the Berry Family domination over an additional class?

I think we all want to see this. It wont cost Tom much since he probably has a bunch of Hoosiers in the bank...

Without Tom, Marshall could win his own Hoosiers.

And his own Jacket....

And BSP might survive another year as a class....

Thing is, CSP is still a real class w/lots of good drivers in various cars; they haven't been all scared away like BSP has by Tom & Marshall Berry - so don't make any assumptions!

Yeah, if an MX-5 with AC, stock seats and no spoiler can win, even Tom would have a shot.

Hey guys, I just saw this thread...

A few things about Bill's miata....

First of all Bill is driving relatively far away from the steering wheel, so even though I'm 6' I was able to fit in the seat nicely (well ok tight).
I say that because I know that many of you might be scarred that you won't be able to fit in the seat... the things are not as bad as you imagine!

The car is very fast and very rewarding to drive, it's definitely one of the fastest CSP cars in the country.

Female driver: I'm not sure if a female can drive it - I remember the first time I drove it I got tendinitis from turning the small steering wheel in split seconds (the combination of 275s wheels and no PS is not female friendly). Anyway that was an one time incident and I was fine after a week with anti inflammatory pills  }:)

Bill is a great driver and a great guy. I learned a lot and I believe it helps a lot to compare yourself with one of the best driver's out there...
I believe that this is a very rare opportunity for someone to get into a car that is already to set up to win races!
It cost's a lot but it worth every penny!

By the way (as Bill mentioned earlier) I'll continue running in SSM/CSM with my own turbo miata... wish me luck!

These was a couple at the Porsche event with a no-power steering Miata with fairly wide R tires. The wife did not take all of her runs because the steering was so heavy. It was unpleasantly heavy for me as well! I had her drive Karen's Miata to see what it should be like. She's probably still badgering her hubbie. }:)

A week with anti inflammatory pills!? Kathy Wolfskill piloted Tom Kubo's non PS CSP Miata to a National Championship in 2008 and has been driving that car for years. Although I doubt anyone has checked, I'd wager she is no man. Perhaps a little bit of muscle to go along with your muscle shirts would have helped your cause.

Anyway I didn't want to offend anyone with what I said, I was just giving my opinion on the car...
...oh and btw I broke up with my gf yesterday so so you can tell her about it :P

Chris ... sorry to hear about your break up ... yeah ... you even have to watch what you say here, or risk upsetting the gals. Who knew your gf read your CSCC posts!
