How about three times from one event ... if you happen to have a Cayman/GT3 to offer to a team ?

I was going to say no but I really want to get more teams. So new modification to the drivers rule. You must have at least 1 event. If you have only 1 event there will be a 15% penalty applied to your handicap. If you have 2 events there will be a 7.5% penalty. This should allow a lot more drivers in.

Is it correct that Two Driver cars can be shared by one team, ie. three cars ... four drivers. That means that the two driver drivers get to do six laps in a car they are familiar with. Should there be a "penalty" index?

We need to get the word out on the Rule Change allowing drivers with only one or two results to join in!

That would be hard to quantify. Lets see how it goes this year and if it proves to be a big advantage, we'll adjust for next year.

All you need is one more GRA team member and you could be Team GRA! Maybe K Mo, Casey Q, JP, or maybe Mr. G himself in his signature Vette?

That's actually already a lot of Tech people. I'd recommend conferring with your event master or chief of workers on how the general worker population looks before adding another. It is pretty easy to overpopulate the specialty areas and not leave enough course workers.

The list looks good to me.

Marcus - you should be OK with 4 people at tech on Sunday.

Saturday is where the list is overdone.

Probably less than 45 total cars to tech and the window is only 60-90 minutes total.

Can I get a better understanding on how this event will be run? I was reading the rules on the first post, but it doesnt clarify how many run groups there will be and how the team members/cars get rotated.
4. Each team member chooses a different color group to define their work/run sessions. Each driver then drives two different cars in each of their run sessions. This results in each driver getting 3 runs in each car.
So how many groups? How many sessions? Is each car getting 6 runs in a heat? :)

Run / work order is as follows:

Code: Select all

          Group 1 Group 2 LUNCH Group 3 Group 4

Run Red, Blue Green, Yellow LUNCH Red, Green Blue, Yellow

Work Green Blue LUNCH Yellow Red

Rest Yellow Red LUNCH Blue Green
Regular practice entries will be accommodated on a first-come, first-serve basis as groups fill up.

The team member/car rotation is up to each team, as long as each member drives 2 cars in the morning, 2 cars in the afternoon.

The weather forecast calls for high of 86 F on Saturday, maybe this can help in deciding the car rotation order (ahem, us on Toyos, ahem  )

That should have been our name - Team Toyo

Well, last event at AAA speedway was HOT and the tires seemed to be ok.. I don't think heat will be an issue. :)

I'm actually chief of waivers and do not have a team to run on. If a team needs someone let me know.
