Do you want our driver index and car class index :?:
One example: http://www.hulu.com/watch/56616/how-i-m ... deo-resume

Or you can just include a brief few sentences about yourself (autox related or not). As far as I'm concerned, it's just something that the announcer can read while your are on course & for your fellow autoxer's to get to know you better. My driver introduction includes something about Orange.

Car index will be computed based on the car class you submit.

I think it may have been posted in another thread that you should submit to someone, most likely Lily, your results for the past 3 events (Your PAX Time, The overall leader's PAX Time, PAX difference (optional? I included it anyway), event date). But yes, the more info in the first post, the better.

This may sound like a silly question, but to whom are we making the checks out? It doesn't say on the flyer.

I have a question regarding the SCNAX cup. I've run 3 events at the start of the year in ST class finishing mid pack and then 2 events running STX towards the top. Should I list my class as ST or STX? Does it matter or.....?
thanks for the help

What is your car set-up for NOW ? The car index used at the event will be for he way it currently is set-up. If we run Karen's Miata with R tires, it's CSP; if we run it with street tires its SST.

I made out my check to Solo 2/QV Dang... Is that acceptable or should I attempt to fish it out of the UPS Store?

You can bring a replacement check to the event, made out to So Cal Solo 2. We will exchange it for the one that QV receives when he receives it.

Did you send it through UPS/certified mail?

Well, I went to the UPS Store to get a stamp, but I didn't pay for any special delivery so I'm assuming it went into standard mail.

Good. We want checks to be sent by regular mail and not UPS/Fedex or anything that requires signatures :)

Car number question?

One of our team members runs at San Diego and does not have a CSCC points card.

His San Diego number is "834". (834 CSCC points card number is taken by Mario, who is not signed up for the SCNAX Cup.)

Is there a problem with my team mate using "834" for the SCNAX Cup :?:

I think I'm getting confused with driver handicap vs. car class running at the event. Once the handicap is set, you are racing against that. Right?

No problem just have him provide the dates of his last three SD championships so I can get the data for the drivers handicap.

Must be 5'10" or less and willing to drive a shifter kart.
I just had the pedals adjusted way back to accomodated taller (5'10")drivers better.

Maybe someone with a last name that starts with an "F" or "B" or "D". (You know who you are)

Jeff and I will be taking the shifter kart to Cal Speedway kart track tomorrow (Sunday) for some practice/set up.

If interested in trying the shifter kart for the SCNAX Cup, stop by in the morning.
Track opens at 9AM. Costs $45 to run on the track.
