I am running SK1 and am planing to bring a friend and do x-runs so he can ride.

Will x-runs be allowed?

If so, I would prefer to run competition and x-runs in the same run group (especially since there is the risk that x-runs can be canceled for the afternoon like it happened at a recent event), will this be allowed?

Trying to figure out if I should bring my friend or tell him to stay home.

Thanks,
Kristoffer

Lots of movement on the stand-by list. An entire group of 5 made other plans when they thought they weren't going to get in.

Normally there are several no-shows that don't that don't cancel ahead of time. If you're on the stand-by list, there is a good chance that if you show up, you will get in. No promises. Worst case scenario, you come down, don't get in, and spend the morning going for rides and learning from the passenger seat.

X runs will be allowed in the afternoon, unless there is some weird major delay in the morning.

Yes indeed.

I will add this though, if you have a two driver car in a group, then you cannot do X runs in the same group. Only a one driver car can do X-runs in the same group, and then they must use the multi driver line.

If the weather guesser has it right, we may get some of the best AX weather in recent memory. Mid 70's both days, low 40's overnight, LIGHT WINDS!

I sent my check in about 10 days ago for the 1-9-10 practice.

How can I make sure I made the cut off for the practice? Driving 100 miles at 5 AM ...

I don't see your name on either list. All the checks that I have received have been listed on one list or the other.

I tried unregistering, deleting the car, creating a new one, and re-registering, but still no T (not that it matters as my chances of Trophying are like a snowballs chance in ...).
Click on 'My Registrations' on the left menu.
Next to your registered vehicle, you'll see a pencil button to the left of the red button.
Click on the pencil button.
In the field next to "T/$", type in 'T' (without the quotes).
Click on the Save button at the bottom.

If that doesn't work, then I don't know.
Thanks for this! I deleted my registration so many times trying to make it work ... lol

LOL! That's funny. I didn't realize so many people were having that problem. We should include this in the regular instructions.

January 9/10/10 Wrap Up (Photos/Video)

Did anyone else that ran Sat and Sun feel that Sat's course was more "fun" then Sunday, even though I designed the course for Sunday? Sunday was very speed maintenance imho, while Sat's course required more braking, etc ... seemed more varied.

I liked Sunday's course better minus the final section after the back slalom.

I didnt run Saturday, but I did like Sundays course. it was fun and easy to read. (I hate courses that are easy to get lost on).

A big part of taking the time to set-up course on Friday already is to make sure the course is easy to read ... besides being safe and flowing.
