A man is flying in a hot air balloon and realizes he is lost. He reduces height and spots a man down below. He lowers the balloon further and shouts, "Excuse me, can you tell me where I am?"
The man below says, "Yes, you're in a hot air balloon, hovering 30 feet above this field. " "You must be an engineer", says the balloonist. "I am", replies the man. "How did you know?" "Well", says the balloonist, "everything you have told me is technically correct, but it's of no use to anyone."
The man below says, "You must be in management." "I am", replies the balloonist, "but how did you know?" "Well", says the man, "you don't know where you are, or where you're going, but you expect me to be able to help. You're in the same position you were before we met, but now it's my fault."

Fixed that for ya.

One of the things that has always pissed me off is having all these super bright super great engineers and scientists in my MBA classes who make a quarter what my sales and marketing idiots make. My teaching mentor used to chalk it up to interpersonal and communication skills. I call BS on that. My engineers and scientists were almost always more articulate and more engaging than the blow dryer idiots trying to hump my leg during breaks. Its just the BA majors were always working it. Always trying to find the angle. They weren't helping the company or the class, they were helping themselves 24/7. And apparently that works. They are value subtracting in my view. But I'm not hiring.

That's a bargain when you consider she had to get each copy hand copied at Kinkos and bust out the Crayolas for the dustjackets.
