We are searching for new course designers!

Post by Anthony P. »

Have you ever thought about being a course designer but didnt know where to start?

Start here!

We are looking for people interested in making a course design. All that is required is pencil, paper and an imagination! I'm happy to help provide the skills, advice and encouragement necessary to see you succeed.

Is anyone interesting in designing a future course?

Additionally, if you are worried about being overwhelmed by the task, feel free to reach out to us and we can provide opportunities to shadow experienced course designers. Shadowing is a great way to understand some of the nuisances of course design and help build your knowledge base before putting pen to paper for your own ideas!

Need a map to get started? Here is a blank course at AAA. The pink dots are areas we try to avoid due to pavement breakup or bumps.

I have a partly done course if someone would like to work together with some of the ideas on paper and be the course designer for the November event. If people have objections or questions about how the process works please reply here.

We have options for Saturday morning early setup, although I prefer Friday morning. Typically, working earlier there is less traffic when leaving and its cooler.

I'm interested! Thanks for creating this thread and posting Santa Anita. Learning all I can hopefully before end of year. Looks like Pete took November though.
