This should keep the calculator racers busy over the holidays.

I propose local modifiers for discussion:
  • Teslas to SS
  • HS to .783
Hi Reed!

I have been on one ride along in a Tesla, at speed. I see what the future is bring us and as much as I was impressed with how fast it can accelerate, to run a season with one your tire budget is going to make the Z06 you really want look doable.

Good luck to anyone running in "BS" and not having to plug their car in at the end of the day.

Come to think about it someone should convince the SCCA mothership to build a spec class for the Tesla. The shocks and tires would be the key.

I know a shock manufacture that would like to help.

And that would go out the window when the adaptive suspension comes out. When I left, I had done RLDA on the 'updated' Model S with the electronic dampers. Even in their prototype state, it made the 'normal' P100DL seem like a wallowing pig.

I don't know the practicalities involved, but it boggles my mind how fast these cars can go with a thousand pounds worth of batteries. And how light that battery could be if you sized a custom for an autox instead of a multi-hundred mile road trip.

Do you suppose it would be legal for Kiesel to convert that Sprite to Tesla running gear? :D
