T1 Corvette champion coming to practice 11/28.

The newly crowned T1 Corvette champion is coming to our practice 11/28. The last time a T1 Corvette driver showed up we embarrassed him so bad he never came back.

Let's show those road racers again. Anyone what to take a guess how bad were going to beat him. My prediction is 2 seconds from myself and much more from our other regulars.

No one trash talks like Mr. Abbott... must be why Marshall likes running against him so much.

He did write a very nice and complementary article in the Cal Club paper about running with us ... so lets not beat him by more then 2 seconds!
He might need a bit more camber!!!

That's because Mr. Abbott "walks the walk" in addition to "talking the talk".

If you only beat him by two you should quit.

That was a nice article from Oli. But it's not Oli who's showing up. Craig Dale is the T1 Champ this year.

Is that the T1 regional champ ? or T1 national champ ?

Edward Zabinski won T1 at the Runoffs in a 360.
And I gotta say looking up Club Racing results on SCCA.com SOOOOO MUCH EASIER than solo results.
Cal Club points show Dale, Craig as beating Oli by 2 points for the year localy in T1.

I too also knew it wasn't Oli as Oli has come back out since his first time event (a PSCC event in El Toro, I think 2yrs ago). Beverlee instructed him and beat him by I believe 10 seconds. He was amazed at how quickly the cones come up on you.

Should be Divisional.

Craig Dale gave Oli a run for his money and it will certainly be exciting to see him at a Solo 2. He is an AWESOME driver - in fact, I took a ride with him at Buttonwillow and it was definitely an E-Ticket Ride.

That dude needs some low speed practice.... He tried to run over an RX-8 getting on the freeway tonight.

Figures, T1 guys don't look in the mirror.

'Course a wimpy little 4 cylinder Miata could show up and rain on all your parades.

I was wondering who that was!
Hey Jason, in road racing that is called a block. Nice heel and toe work by-the-way....

PS. With me driving that big truck if I was "trying" your RX8 would be a 2500 pound RX paperw8t.

Hey Abbott:
Keep up the smack talk dude. Beverlee is only going to get me by 5 seconds this time!
Can we make this a hybrid event and link up the exit gate of the AX course to pit entry of the ROval. I think I might have a better chance then....

We could just skip all the turning altogether and I could bring out my Super Stocker to the drag strip.

It's going to be raining, so it's your gay pride parade that will be rained out.

Oli holding up another Mazda, 6:35 in the video.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0t0yfSdlMz8" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Then about 10secs later there are cones on the track, and the T1 guys are clearly confused.
"I was surprised I had to slow down for the vettes in that turn", Philip tells me.

This is from a mid-pack ITA car.
Glad to see these guys are coming out, I have no doubt they will find some benefit from it, particularly when it comes to those slow turns.

I had a chance to drive Craig's C6 T1 Corvette yesterday and the SV autocross. I had a 39.0 in my car. I turned a 39.8 in his. But the car has the potential to go much faster. I couldn't move the race seat back and was about one foot from the steering wheel. The Hoosiers A6's were about 10psi to low. In the 22 range. I'm sure after a few more laps and the right tire pressure I would be real close to my car's time. Not sure about the C5 T1 for autocross, it was being repaired from a mishap on the Roval. Craig was not driving it at the time. It should be repaired in time for our race on Friday. Hope it doesn't rain.

Is it too early for me to start talking smack about how I am going to lap Abbot, Dale and Isley this Friday?
