Determining max number of cars on course
How do we normally determine this? Not looking for a good guesstimate by the starter, rather if there's a formula, re: amount of cars, time ran, length of course.

Send them out every 20 sec. Course length determines how many are cars are on it.

Re: Determining max number of cars on course
Well, in general, 20 seconds works, but course design can effect that. If we are getting a lot of cone calls, or are light on workers, we often have to slow it down or we get too many reruns if workers don't have enough time to get cones back up. Of course the starter has to adjust for individual cars that are very slow or very fast (like Marshal or Jason in the B Mod car).
Since light is faster than sound...many people look bright until they speak...
