Bonaccorsi is racing his ASA Speedtruck this Saturday night at Irwindale. At this point, it's looking like Whitehead is the only guy who's available to work on the crew that night. If anyone is interested in coming out to help, e-mail me offline and I'll get you in touch with Mr. Whitehead. Anyone else interested in coming out to watch, I believe the gates open at 5:00 and the Speedtruck feature should be sometime after 7:00.

Sometime between noon and 2PM for the afternoon practice. Depends on how the Friday evening practice goes. If it goes well, later. If he hits the wall or something else, again, maybe an all niter :(

Bump. Jeff Miller is coming out to help, so Paul thinks he'll be OK for help, but if anyone is available...

The autograph session is at 6:00 with racing starting at 7:00 with the trophy dashes. I might be coming out for that. If anyone is coming, gimme a call.

nine five one, four nine zero, nine five two six

Just heard that autographs are from 5:45 to 6:20 on the track and trophy dashes start at 6:30.

C'mon out and yell for a fellow Cal Clubber :gpower:

Well, y'all missed a good race. 50 laps, green to checker, no cautions. Bonaccorsi qualified 8th and raced up to 4th with about 15 laps left. With 5 to go, the 5th place guy had made up 10 of the 15 lengths Paul had put on him making it real interesting. He held him of, barely to keep 4th.

Interersting to have a radio this time and hear the conversation, mostly one way, from crew chief to driver. Oval racin' just ain't turnin' left. Who's in front, who's behind, lapped traffic, how many laps left, warnings about staying "above the white line". Paul's crew chief, Bryan, does a great job of letting him know what's going on, hence the mostly one way communication. The only thing I heard Paul say all race was, "It' doesn't have anymore". That was when the 5th place guy started gaining. That's when Bryan really had to start pushin' him on the radio.

Next race is July 5th at Orange Show in San Berdoo. If you can come out, do it. It's a lot of fun to watch.
