FS: Miata 90-97 trunk lid with HUGE polycarbonate spoiler

Does anyone remember Moti Almagor's "Blackbird" Miata? Well, I have one of his original trunk lids, with the very large, custom-built polycarbonate spoiler.

I bought this from Moti when he was parting out his Blackbird. I've used it a few times, but it is now time for me to move on to something else. This is your chance to own a piece of Miata history. If you don't care about that, then you can at least benefit from the increased rear-end stability you get from having this on your Miata. It works great on both autocross and road courses.

It's in good shape mechanically. All the rivets/hinges/hardware are good and solid.

Price is firm at $350. Local pickup in the city of Orange, CA.

It was a rear diffuser.

Does it extend more than 10" from the bodywork in any direction?

Hey ... maybe that will finally push our CS Maita BUTT down to a non-embarrasing ride height! I'm sure no one will mind ... locally. :?

Is your butt high or is your front end low? Looking at Karens car I'd guess the latter.

We ordered a new set of oem springs for Friday install ... NO ONE could tell us which of our four sets of springs were the proper ones?! We've tried three different combinations already. MazdaSport did finally get us the correct length of the springs ... but there are different coil thicknesses of course. We know of six different color dots being used for '99's.

Aaron,
I'll take measurements tonight and get back to you on this.

All,
Additional info: The spoiler angle is adjustable. There are 3 holes in each of the top 3 aluminum support blocks. The spoiler is at the highest angle in the pictures.
