Yup. I just went to change wheels on the MINI and found that for the third time Long Beach BMW has used an air torque wrench and just hammered my lug bolts. I have complained about this at least twice before but it has happened more times than that. I'm taking the car in tomorrow and insist they replace all of the lug bolts. I'll report back what happens.

But what happens when they replace the bolts and hit them with the hammer...again?...
...and I hear all the cool kids with Minis have real live lug studs installed ;)

What's worse is when they only put them on finger tight! Picked up my car, drove up to Santa Barbara, came back, pulled a rear wheel to do some brake work ... and found all of the lug nuts basically finger tight!?

I really hate it when they twist my nuts that hard too.

I went and twisted their nuts today. New lug bolts will be installed tomorrow.
