The following conversation just transpired here at work (names have been changed to protect my office from the pun police):

(Worker a) I'm on it like white on rice
(Worker b) Well, don't get too steamed about it.
(worker c) That was badsmati.
(Worker d) *groans*
(Worker c) You love it.
(Worker d) Well, it certainly gets a rice out of me...

I actually am looking forward to working in a cubicle, starting in September, because of conversations like this.

At my office, we seem to have a lot more time on our hands lately. All of the conversations seem to center around the 20yo receptionist. Seems she's coming in very tired lately. We like to keep business conversations to a minimum. :)

This doesn't surprise me in the least.

I'm not so sure I could type the typical conversations I hear "at" work. Even if I could, I doubt anyone could guess what was said with 3/4 of the conversation having to be censored(family board and all...)

Now that the definition of harrassment has been redefined by the court, were afraid to make eye contact with anyone that breathes, male of female. :)

"That guy is kind of a space cadet. I met him up in Pleasanton when I was there playing drums in the Highland Games. He's into lifting weights, can you believe that? His girlfriend is hot."

Yeah, gimme that cubicle, please.

Well, since being laid off my cubicle is at home, but at least I can spend all the time I want at Autoweek's Amanda Beard gallery. Turns out she's jonzing for an El Camino. :gpower:

The site does have this "unfortunate" automatic text issue:

Amanda Beard

Yeah, she's hot and all, but every time I hear her name I think of the little girl with the teddy bear at the Olympics and that brings back my time in, court ordered, therapy...

But then she's a swimmer. I was a swimmer. My first serious girlfriend was a swimmer............ So that makes up for a lot.
