Does anybody know if who is televising the Dakar Rally(South America) 2009 right know??

it is to be run in the US and Canada on TV channel: Versus

Personally I've never hear of them, (I only have basic Cable) maybe you have.

edit: according to Versus' website there the official channel of : NHL, College Football, the Bulls, amongst other things. So I'm guessing at least a few of you have heard of them.

P.S. the race Runs Jan 3rd - Jan 18th It appears their only offering a 1/2 hour highlights show the 4th-19th at varying time of day. How they could possible do justice in 1/2 hour with an event including: 235 Motorcycles, 29 Quads, 194 Cars, and 84 Trucks (registered at least) is beyond me.

Versus used to be the Outdoor Channel. It runs the Tour de France also.

30 minutes is all we've gotten for a few years. Just like when Speed had WRC coverage: 1 day = 30 minute wrap-up.
