Looking down the list on the main website it looks like there are a lot of people that have not renewed yet.
Reminder: Points Card Renewals

The first event of the year is THIS weekend. I see lots of our long-time core members/veterans who have yet renewed (0-199). If you mailed in your application it's STILL sitting in my mailbox...or worse...being held by my mailman as my box is probably full since I've extended my stay back east and haven't been home yet to open up my mailbox to process your apps. I won't be home til Sat and by that time it'll be too late as Fri night is when Rick will download the new batch of numbers to start the year.
So if you have mailed it in, then you can pay via PayPal and then I'll just shred your check/app when I get home or return your check. Or if you haven't yet renewed....PayPal is the way to go as I can process it while I'm away via an Internet cafe. Meaning I go and pay to use a computer, not I'm at a Starbucks being served by the "Shnekkers" of the world my double latte/espresso, and accessing the web via wifi from a laptop that I don't have!

Or am I at a Jamba Juice getting a smoothie?? DOh! Better not else he spill it on me!
So the moral of the story is....renew now!

I sent a PayPal for Shauna and I a few days ago, but I see that my number still says expired-on hold. Should I be concerned?

Didn't you get the memo from Gio? We are secretly allowing certain people to only renew if they switch to PSCC. PSCC WILL WIN THIS YEAR!

Although it would go a long way towards repairing my street cred that was damaged due to our unfortunate OLD domain name, I'm still a Team Blew man. :gpower:
Besides, how can PSCC win when Blew is in the top spot?

yes you should! Thanks for pointing that out. I did see your payment and with so many, I sometimes reply with an e-mail but then forget to ACTUALLY renew it in the system. You and Shauna are all set.

Blewmen aren't on top, they are in front.

A cool addition would be to have how many years we've been a CSCC member next to our name/avatar ?

Whatever you do Rick, don't let anyone know about the special coding we had Vitek insert for timing and scoring of PSCC members. Shhhhh...

Feel free to throw it in your signature, we don't need to have everyone's resume on every post.

But it might be useful for determining who should fairly be getting sub 200 points card numbers, etc.

But it would just be a manual entry field anyway.. ie. I've been racing for 78 years.

And so does this one... click on someone's name. Doesn't help much since 90% of the users were created on the same day.

Mako, the difference is you actually want to list how long you've been a member of Cal Club, not how long you've been a member of this message board.
The first option is not very easy to make automatic. I'm not even very sure Gio knows how long everyone has had a points card.

Hopefully it's as "special" (as in Special Ed and Special Olympics) as the PSCC drivers themselves and it'll work in reverse.

I don't need to know how long Renee has been a member to offer her a courtesy for core members.
If we haven't heard of you.... I'm not sure it matters how long you've been around.
