Ideal Wheel Sizing

I'm selling my current rims to a friend very soon, and I thought, Tito! Since you're getting autocross only tires; hell, might as well dive into autocross only rims too! I will have my stock set of rims and tires for daily driving. Cut to the chase, I'm highly considering a set of Enkei RPF1 17x8.0 / +35. Then I ran into a brick wall. Should I pursue a staggered setup? Such as F: 17x9.0, R: 17x8.5 or stick to the same size? Offset is fine? However, my tire sizing will also have to match my rims. I don't want to experience the feeling of wrong sizing ever again. Any ideas for a newbie is appreciated!

I say run the same size all around mostly because you gain the ability to rotate the tires Front-to-Rear. FWD is really hard on front tires and easy on the rears. I used to label my wheels and then run them "correct" on even numbered months and "backwards" on odd numbered months. This allows you to wear all four tires evenly so you don't end up with a mix up of old and new tires.
I don't know if your car is modified, but non-stock-sized wheels knocks you out of the Stock category and into ST or SP where a lot of suspension mods are allowed - you'll be on the short end of the stick there! Maybe you should buy some pimpy-cool wheels for the street and put your autocross tires on the stockers.

Which class do you run? Just run the biggest rim & tire size you can for the class

.
You can always join CST & run 17x10's all around, yummy.

Tito: You run STX right? Since your car is 2wd, you can use any wheel or offset with a max width of 9" and any tire that has a treadwear rating of 140 or higher and has a section width of 265 or less.
I would try to get the widest wheel and tire combo you can without too much rubbing, you are allowed to roll the fenders a bit for additional clearance.
