So I wanted to throw out a suggestion to see if people would be interested....we have done this before with CSCC people and it pretty much became an intense racing evening after a long sunburned practice!!!

It is the best track for those kart racers looking for a challenging racing experience. The Super Track is the largest indoor kart track in the country and combines the best of both worlds; only available for private parties and special racing events.

Thats $1.42 per lap...and its not even in our own race cars!! cant beat that!!!

To make it all worth it winners get trophies...No solo Bucks available!!!

Thoughts? Takers?

Time Table:
We would meet at 11am at K1 and see who show up and run either just a bunch of laps or set up some Grand Prix Race, After HOOTERS is down the street for some food, but depending on the Charger Game at 1:45pm it may be very busy but we can find a place to eat afterwards...

The List:
Jason Flores
Jon Lugod
Michael Palero

With a little more notice I would've been in, but I can't do last-minute, unfortunately (married with children). Probably all for the best, cuz all you 5'6" toothpicks would kill me in a kart.

Just an aside....

What is the appeal of a straightaway in karting?

I did notice there is a Challenge GP being held tonight - Jan. 11 - (reg at 6:30, race start at 7 p.m.) at the IRVINE location. I'd rather do that since I've got church at 11. The Challenge is always interesting because some of the best k1 guys race those and you can see how well you do compared to them. Cost is $60.

With slow indoor rental carts ... straight = chance to get up some speed ... making the following corner entry more interesting

I did consider breathing... And relaxing my hands... But I figured that would only apply to out of shape old guys like me.
