and, if you would like to see some motorcycle action up close and personal, read on...
Received from Steve Staveley...
"On March 20, 21, and 22 Cal Club is providing flaggers for the AMA road races at Cal Speedway (sorry AAA Speedway). I am working with at motorcycle riding group to help the flaggers, and it occured to me (late as usual) that what the heck, I bet our solo community would love the chance to get that close to this amazing level of professional racing.
Here is the deal, we would put new (to flagging) folks with experienced folks and they would join the team. Nice to have folks for all three days, that way they can actually get good at this flagging stuff, but two days, even one would be OK, but three or two is really important if at all possible. Lunch provided, beer at the end of the day, good training and absolutly the very best and most amazing seat in the house to watch the best motorcycle racers in the world do their thing.
Can you share with the solo community? Need to be Cal Club or SCCA members to play. Interested persons can send their name, rank, serial number (sorry phone number ) to me, or Ceci or Linda or all of us and we will make sure to hook them up.
March 20 ,21,22 AAA Speedway - folks don't want to miss this amazing opportunity to learn, to see, to have a great time all for FREE and we buy lunch. How can you beat it?
