I love my Spyders ... very easy to slip on ... very comfortable.
They seem to run slightly small ... I usually wear a size 9 ... my great fitting Spyders are a 9.5
And of course those are great prices?!

I have the spyders (run about normal) and the DTMs (run a little wide).
I have a wide (12-4E) foot so need to stuff into a driving shoe. I find the spyders a little tight for walking. I wouldn't work course in them.
I have not driven in competition with the DTMs yet, but they are all day comfy otherwise.

Stacey LOVES the Prototipos I got her in Topeka.
I just got some off this site for both Tadd and I. Stacey says they have great arch support compared to her Puma Replicat lo's. But her Puma's are sexier.

I got my DTMs from a place in San Pedro called Auto Palace. Actually picked them up at the PV Concours. I think that they have a store front in SP, but I haven't been there. Got the other pair at Miller Motor Park Utah. Randy Pobst was wearing some and said they were great and talked me into a pair at the trackside shop.

I had gotten my Prototipos from Auto Palace in San Pedro, from the store. They didn't have 9.5 that I had for my Spyders so the sales person recommended I get 10. It worked well at first but after a couple of months they expanded and now I wish I just waited for my exact size. The Spyders I have run a bit small. Had to wear a bandaid on my hear for the longest time until they broke in. Now they are pretty good. I'll probably get another pair of Spyders before they're discontinued at some point.

for those who still haven't bought any yet, saw this on slickdeals:
pilotti prototipo's are on sale - about $30 shipped after coupon code (BF705)
http://www.bargainoutfitters.com/net/cb ... 99744&pn=1
Lucky for me, black & orange were available... well, those are the ONLY colors available, lol.
These are suppose to have the bungee cord strap thingy too.

I've recently bought two pairs from Amazon.

The selection is a little better.
