I thought we could all share some Valentine's Day ideas here for all the poor poor last minute preparers!

I of course would share my Valentine's Day idea, but since Patty frequents this board so often, I have to refrain from sharing my plans to keep from compromising Valentine's day.

So, post your Valentine's Day ideas here!

If your asking this late in the game your sh#$ OUT OF LUCK. As you get older you will/or wont learn that no matter what YOUR woman says this is THE holiday you don't screw up.

You are supposed to listen all year at the little hints they give about how "this is cute" and " i like that". If a Cromagnum like me can get it right, there is still hope for you yet Mike.

This thread has gone way off course. Michael wanted some serious ideas how he could guarantee getting some on Valentines Day and we're just joking around. I for one am willing to help you Michael. For planning purposes, when is Valentines Day?

i think you're refering to the OG valentines day. many prefer the revised date of March 14 due to less scheduling conflicts. :ibrightdea:

Target had some really cool coffee mugs.

I hate Valentines Day.

When you're in a long term relationship I like spontaneity and regular romance. Not some artificial day where its expected. I like giving flowers just because, unexpected, random, not when every woman at the office is checking out every other woman's desk and some dude can look like a prize by whipping out the credit card once a year. I think its stupid and phony.

Same with Mother's Day and Father's Day. Every day we should cherish and respect them.

Bah Humhearts....

Seriously hot chick shares the secret of what women really want! Pay attention gentleman.

And when your girl tosses you out on the 15th, rest easy knowing you simply picked wrong and move on.

Not to mention that a dozen long stemmed boxed roses are 4x the price for Valentines Day. Same with birthdays. I just hate it when I'd like to take the family out for a nice dinner to celebrate a birthday and find that other people have the same idea, places are crowded, prices are more expensive, etc. So I try to find a unique day other than the actual birthday to celebrate.

Thought it might lend to this conversation. Hopefully none of you will end up on it!!! :)

I thought the Coffee Mug and the Orange Milano's was a little thin.... So, I picked her up her own box of shop rags and a set of 3/8" Drive Metric Hex bits.

Karen and I got an early start to Valentine's Day. Last night we went to the 10 PM Burlesque show at the Ed Cid: http://www.itsachick.com/vvh.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Steve Collin's wife had a great new act! This is old time tame fun burlesque ... probably not hard core enough for most of you guys, but I have to say there were more gals in the audience then guys ... that's refreshing! :D Karen loved the show. I would highly recommend this place for CSCC and Team Blew meetings. Might help get the blood pumping again if GRA held meetings there.

Today Karen got off work early ... so we wined and dined (with not a lot of people around) at three different places (appetizers, dinner, desert) at The Grove and Farmer Market.

Topped off with finding a good bottle of her favorite french Pastis and ... see below :heyes: ... to take home with us:
