I knew it would eventually happen! Marshall beat me fair and square yesterday. Good driving !
We have all seen his driving improving over the last couple of years and its great to see it all come together.
( anyone know where he can get a new co-drive deal ? ) JK.

Marshall is ready to win BSP at Nationals. Tom, if Daddio comes back in his Evo in SM, you should run heads up with him and the Bimmers of Sias and Simanyi. The added competition will elevate your driving and bring the best out of you.

Instead of being the hunted, you will become the hunter.

Jeff,

Buy a SS ride and try running heads up with Gary.

Marshall, how many times have I told you? DO NOT POKE THE BEAR.

Wait a minute... I told that to Bill. Carry on...

(Seriously, nice driving!)

Great job Griceberry! We all knew the day was coming soon!
Of course, the rest of the field just knows you've poked a very very scary bear.

Watch out what you do next, ie. suggesting EVO School to Tom, etc. :D

Remember that the loss of one sense (seeing) is compensated by an increase in another (hearing). Thus the squirrel will adapt and become FASTER. See the squirrel may not SEE the cones but somehow he HEARS that he's getting close to them :)

Or go the other direction and get it all in now while you can, cuz you're toast the rest of the season

I think Marshall was really hoping to beat Christine, but ended up beating Tom also. I was working the first section and I know where you beat him. It was after the first 180 turnaround in Section 1. Marshall was on the limiter there and I never heard Tom hit the limiter until after the right turn into section 2.

A lot of people overcooked that first 180.

need a :raised hand: smilie.

and the last one too. when you popped through that kink just right and had a good line, the acceleration around the right-hander into the last 180 felt too good to stop.

eh, data says I only beat him by .2 sec through that section which i promptly lost braking at the entry of the very large right hand sweeper. I also lost .8 sec more cause i was a chicken and for some unknown reason i hit the brakes going into the "lane change" element on my fast run.

btw, that is compared to Tom's first run which was way faster then any of my runs but had cones.

Aha, so you didn't really beat him, he beat himself }:)

Amazing how fast a thread goes from congrats to harassment.......

But Tom was only 3 tenths faster, not "way" faster.

Good job Marshall, hey whatever happened to fighting over the bottom half of pax? Looks like you underestimated yourself. Oh and by the way the trick to keeping to your ride is to let the car owner be faster than you in the practice, works for me, hehe.

Same rule applies to Bachelor's Parties: DO NOT POKE THE BEAR.
