Rick Brown. Partial story on SCCA's site:

El TORO, Calif., (April 2, 2009) – The Tire Rack SCCA ProSolo National Series kicked off at the El Toro Air Force Base, just south of Los Angeles, on March 28 – 29. Under the sunny California skies, it was the course designer himself, Tom Berry, who walked away with the top prize.

The AMCI Drive Center facility at the El Toro Air Force Base gave Berry more than enough room to work with when laying out the first ProSolo courses of the season. Drivers were blessed with long challenging runs in the 40-second range, but more than a few competitors were caught out by Berry’s tricky cone sections.

The Berry name shows up 11 times (once more in the title).

I wonder if my Hoosier will get faster by resting in Tom's trailer, I hope so.

And I like the part about Christine winning L2 by a slim margin. Unless 1.2 seconds is now concidered "slim"

But it has Richard's by line on it. I'm afraid you fall into the category of collateral damage.

Of course it's technically the former MCAS El Toro. Active ops are now at MCAS Miramar (formally Naval Air Station Miramar). I guess it's really The Great Park at El Toro now.

Sgt's don't get to play with the planes, I just fixed them.

Hey, hey... I just gave them a photo, I didn't write the story. And, for the record, I don't work for SportsCar any more. But feel free to fire on Jason if necessary.

Richard

OK, you're off the hook. Didn't realize that was just a photo credit, thought you knew how to write, too
