I was wondering how solo bucks work now with the online registration. I don't recall there being a way to reduce the entry fee if you wanted to apply solo bucks to the amount paid. Second question is, how do I ensure that I earn solo bucks rather than a trophy. I noticed that I had a trophy in the box near the registration booth at our most recent event at El Toro, but have always listed my preference for solo bucks.

People that earn Solo$ will have an online credit that shows up when you pay online. At the event I believe there will be a list they refer to. Sorry about the trophy, we are working on how to track this for online reg. For now the reg person will have a column to fill in when you check in so be sure to mention it. I think the info can be saved in the timing computer, but not sure yet.

So Keith, are you saying that you want solo$ instead of a trophy? I am the person who orders the trophies and credits the solo$. I used to be able to print out a list from the entries that indicated trophy or solo$. Now I cannot. I know that they are working on making this a possibility, but so far not yet.

I have already ordered the March 1st trophies and unfortunately, you will be getting a trophy for that event. I will add your name to my list of people preferring solo$. If you win tomorrow, then you will have a solo$ credit at the next event.

BTW - my understanding is that the solo$ have not been credited into the timing software yet. KJ is still working on it. That's why there is a credit/discount list at registration that is updated after each event.

I hadnt seen a place to check a box anymore either... for now, I to would like to switch from a trophy to solo$.
