Ticket Assassin

Figured I'd give everyone a caveat emptor about Ticket Assassin, based on my recent experiences with them. I got a ticket in late November of last year, so I signed up for Ticket Assassin's service in early December. I registered for the site, which gave me access to their "shareware" and other documents, and paid the $25 they request via PayPal. Since then, all I've received from them is a monthly reminder that I haven't paid. I've sent multiple emails to every address I could find, and even sent them a snail mail letter, and I've never received a response from anyone about whether they've received my payment. I also never received a direct "member" email address I could use to ask questions and get guidance, which is the main motivation for paying for the service. I get the feeling the guy who runs it has gone to autopilot, no longer trying to actually offer any value and just raking in whatever PayPal payments suckers are willing to send him. As far as I can tell, he hasn't updated his site since 2006.

Bottom line, I still think they have some useful information in their document library (though I got a lot more from looking a few of Jeff Shyu's TBWD examples--Jeff, you missed your calling), but I wouldn't bother paying for it. You get nothing of real value that you can't get elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm one of those over-honest idiots. Thanks for the offer, but you actually have helped quite a bit. Based on a couple of the examples you posted a few months back, I think I put together a relatively solid defense. Just Express Mailed it off.

I registered with them, sent payment, got their shareware documents. Appealed my ticket based on their letters...and VOILA. Ticket was dismissed. This was probably 3yrs ago. Still have their documents.
