Anyone know of a good Porsche shop near Costa Mesa or Huntington Beach that actually returns phone calls?

Steve Eguina uses GMG in Santa Ana. Ask for Fabryce. Vision Motorsports in Irvine is also good. Ask for Dwain.

Heard good things about both. When we were at the GMG shop for work they were packed with cars, lots of $$$$$$$$$$ cars.

What do you need done?

A simple DIY that I don't have time for - my air/oil separator (as Porsche calls it) went bad. It's about a $150 in parts and 90 minutes or less if you know what you're doing. It's in a rather tight place on the block also, and I'm not good in small spaces. :( ;)

I have a good place here in North County San Diego if you are willing to drive. Let me know if you are interested.

Thanks to all for the replies.

Turns out the problem was simpler than first thought. Turns out if there is just a tiny bit more than "full" of oil in the motor, it sloshes out into the air/oil separator. I had topped off the oil before the event and did have it a tad over. Under normal driving the problem has gone away and now no indication that the separator is bad. Live and learn.
