I haven't watched my TiVO'd race yet but how about an all Toyota front row? Just continues one of the wackiest, wide-open F1 seasons I can remember. This is so much fun!

I watched that race last night. That track is so amazing! It's like driving on artwork instead of a racetrack.

I'd like the track better if the layout were a little less "busy."

Toyota has spent a lot of money since entering F1 to get that quali result.

If you would've told me last year that a race without any major incidents in the dry would be won by a Honda (last year's Brawn), a Red Bull and a Toyota, I would've told you to put the pipe down. Anyone still think Vettel can only drive in the wet?

This is what's great about this season. Vettel and Glock have always been good drivers, but without the car to show it. McLaren might catch up, but it won't be soon enough to win either the driver's or constructor's prize. Ferrari is in such disarray that they'll be lucky to be top 10 for driver and top 5 for constructor.

BMW also has serious car balance issues.

it's kinda funny that the chassis which pushed in last year's trim (brawn / honda) is suddenly "well balanced" with the tire change.

how's it going to play out next year when the front tires get smaller? will the brawn cars push again?

It's not the same chassis at all.

poor choice of words.

i meant more that the team with a setup which tended to push, came out to a neutral balance thanks to big slicks up front (relatively speaking).

i meant more that the team with a setup which tended to push, came out to a neutral balance thanks to big slicks up front (relatively speaking).

Yeah, but I think the tendency to push also had a lot to do with trimming aero in favor of top speed. Honda had the slowest car through the speed trap, along with Team Super Best Friends' Honda powered car.

KERS didn't seem to help either Kubica or Heidfeld, and with bad luck in the race, they were dead last among the cars still running.

i was literally busting out laughing when Piquet Jr. was cockblocking Rubens for like 4 laps with judicious use of KERS, with rubens flipping out every turn.

Oh KJ did that last weekend! I was drooling seeing how it looked and from what it sounded like, it was intense. But the infinite wisdom of whomever's in charge in Speed World Challenge is doing a bangup job showing letting ABC broadcast it, and also showing SCCA's coverage........2 months later!
