What is the best (local) place to get a low profile jack?

I'm thinking of getting a low profile aluminum jack and I would prefer to get it locally (pep boys autozone, sears, harbor freight etc) so I can have it for this weekend's practice/race.
Which place you would recommend?
Also do they sell tire totes in any of these places?

Thanks
Chris

If you want local it would help to know what area you live in. ;)

I love ... for my Miata ... the inexpensive small light weight aluminum Harbor Freight jack ... that I picked up at their Pasadena outlet. It keeps working even though bigger more expensive ones that we own leak.

Hi Mako!
I think I'll follow your advice and get the small aluminum one they have in Harbor Freight... it should be more than adeqwuate to change tires and it's lower than the bigger models which is a good thing since most jacks don't fit under my car...

Btw I live in Thousand Oaks...

This one: http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/d ... mber=91039" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

But note they have a number of similar models ... you have a Harbor Freight in Camarillo ... probably the largest around here.

I have had the same experience, the little one way outperforms the big one. :thumbup:

If you sign up in store or at their web site, you can get on their email mailing list. They send out coupons about once a week for 20% off any purchase. That's about a $30 for for that jack.

Also, I think you can buy a lifetime warranty at additional charge. They don't last forever. You can take it back when it starts to leak and get a new one at no charge with that warranty.

Wish I'd gotten that! :(

I don't remember a lifetime warranty, but I do remember an extended one, which is what I got.
