PLEASE post all photos and photo album links for this event in this thread!
PHOTOS by Pete Loney and myself.
http://public.fotki.com/makofoto/2009-a ... osted-pra/
Mainly from the afternoon run groups. Pete and I have mainly slo-mo video clips from some of the morning runs. Pete and I were testing his new Casio EX-F1 camera ... that does both stills and Slo-Mo video. Not sure yet where the video clips will be available for viewing?
(Should get my new video editing software on Friday May 9th ... and Fotki is going to let me Beta test their Video Uploading Software.)
NOTE: First few photos are SAMPLES that show how the rest of the pictures can be enlarged, cropped and color/density corrected. PEOPLE picture FILES are free. Just email me if you want them. If you order 8X10/8X12 prints you also get the high resolution print file sent to you, if I have your email address. NOTE that the Digital Format is 2:3 ... so you will get quite a bit of CUT-OFF if you order 8X10's. The Proper enlarged size for a Digital File is 8 X 12 ! Questions? Email me: makofoto at earthlink dot net
Does the Ferrari look more Orange then Red ? In Photoshop it looks Red to me, but in the browser it looks Orange ?!

Processed one video so far....
Jason Uyeda counter steering near the finish on Practice day.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NTzG2Rm6Sao" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Cristos Adam on practice day spitting a cone... Watch the movement that the cone causes in the suspension and body panels, so cool.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oOMs64XK8Ow" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Push the HQ button for a better quality version, it acts a little goofy at first and then gets better.
More videos to follow.

Besides shooting Slo-Mo video, Pete's camera can shoot stills a 60 frames per second ... allowing one to then pick out the best moment:

In youTube, go to
Account >
Playback Set-Up ... on the left side of the page ... and you can then select, under
Video Playback ...
I have a fast connection. Always play higher-quality video when it's available, (Save) ie. make HQ your Default Setting.

We never got a chance to get on course with that camera to try some isolated tire close up type shots ... to see if we can see tire squirm, etc. We were shooting at 300 fps ... and the camera will go up to 1,200 frames per second !!!

I'd love to see what my car is doing when it's doing bad things, I bet this could be a great tuning tool.

LOL if I knew that Mako was shooting, I would had ask Renee so apply some oil on me - just to make everyone on the club happy
By the way a thousand times thanks to Renee, believe it or not today I have slight pain from the sun burn burn ... without her and the sunscreen I would be in deep fried. :barf:
The problem was that at AM&PM didn't have sunscreen and Bill Schenker wasn't around to steal some of his (as I was always doing) :gpower:

I'll be posting another video from the Allstars Flores/Yeoh machine that does show some odd tire squirm action on the last turn, outside front tire, had a shimmy dealio going on.
Data cards are at home....@work now.. Stay tuned....

Orange.
Nah, it's totally red. My car barely passes for orange.
Mako, not sure why, but I'm getting a "Password required"/"Resticted Access" message trying to view the photos
EDIT: Mako, in photoshop, you might want to try "Monitor RGB" under the Color Profiles if you don't already - I found that creates output files much closer to what you see in photoshop (at least on screen wise).
thanks for the post Nicole! Now I don't feel crazy, though I guess I should read all the posts before asking, hee hee

I found this Audioswap function on youtube, watch the Cristos video again and the timing of the music to the video. WHat a coinkydink...

Let's see if I can make Cristos into a viral web phenom!
I also added a dedication type song to Jason's video too...
Cool option...

Not getting ANY sound out of the Chris video. Sound is working fine on other videos, like this EVO one: (talk about Viral!)

Weird .. after trying it like four times ... the sound came up on the Chris video.
Any other slo-mo of Chris, you know ... for Renee. Chris cleaning his windshield, Chris putting air in his tires, Chris sliding his helmet off.
