Dude!!
Too late, already booked up for the weekend.
Something about running all the events so far this year has me overdrawn in the matrimonial checkbook

No worries, there will be more chances. The back awning/window appear to be in (not sure, I left early for a baseball game). Solar panel/charge controller are up and running.

I'll probably handle the tires, brakes, shocks, bushings after work this week.

On the 16th and/or 23rd the windows need completed. I'll be in Spokane on the 16th but if people want to work on it then I wont argue...

We had a little problem with the back window. The fit is terrific, but the locks hit the window frame. We'll have to fabricate an alternate locking system. I'm going to look into SS fasteners as we had discussed. The stuff we bought looks decent and the seal is so tight I think we can forgo the caulking between the frames.

I know we talked about changing the locking system instead of shimming out the window part, but I forgot that Eric and I had talked about that shimming out the window is actually a plus since we would also shim out a false wall which then gives us a place to run wiring for the computer/clocks/etc. And we are only talking about a 3/4" to 1" space.

I'm willing to work one day next weekend, but need at least two people to be able to do windows. You need at least on of us that was there yesterday because of the learning that was involved. Turns out that while the windows and the awning were fully assembled, the awning frame was not. And not just not assembled, not cut, just raw lengths of material and mounting hardware, with no instructions.

But it looks so good as it is. :P

Far easier to screw a 1x3 frame around the opening and then attach the window to it than to redo the lock.

Rick - I'm a definite maybe on next Saturday.

I'm in. Hopefully my mere presence won't make all four walls collapse and the drivetrain drop out of the chassis. What time should I show?

I'll be there. Two to three is really enough for what's left.
Back window needs a little routing for the locks.

Passenger side window needs adhesive on frame, locks installed, should have frame replaced cause it's a little short in places, but will work for now.

Driver's side needs to be installed. Should be easy with the other side as a guide to cut the right size hole. The bottom frame will be short, but again will work for now.

Both sides need the right length bolts, 20 each I think.

Probably won't be until after the No$ event, we are a bit burned out after 3 weekends in a row including all 3 days of the Memorial Day weekend to get it usable for Lone Pine.

I'm thinking there needs to be an Appearance Team, too. Mike showed that the outside cleans up real well polishing up the door over the new generator. So the Inside/Mechanical Team can continue their thing and some other folks can be the Appearance Team. :?:  Since you don't really need tools beyond buffers which can run off the on board or portable generator, it can be done at AAA anytime or on a practice day.
