Okay, I just spent about 40 min going thru the 09 solo rules and supp regs looking for the class pax multipliers. Is there someplace online (other than random board posts and some fastrack way back when that I don't feel like searching for) where each year's Class PAX numbers (including local classes) are listed?

The additional PAX for local classes (SK1, SK2, and HIST) are both in the supplemental rules and in this thread in the newbie section of our site:

I love Google, but maybe our region ought to be my friend too. Shouldn't we put this info in a clearly marked place off the main website? Seems like If I can't find it skimming the supps, maybe we should put both pieces of info in one place on our site with its own link. It's kinda crucial info, no? Seems like it should be something that stands alone and is easy to find.

The Pax indicies will not be found in the nationals rule book because it is not used on a national level. They are created and maintained seperatly from SCCA by Rick Ruth. Many regions use these Pax indicies for local competition but that is by our own choice.

I see the mention of w it's calculated for the SK classes, but I don't see the actual multipliers. Again, given that they only change once a year, this (both the national and local multipliers) seems like something we ought to keep on our site with its own link (i.e. not buried someplace where no one will be able to find it). I'd even volunteer to do the work if someone tells me what's required.

Probably wouldn't hurt to have the index say Appendix C - Local and National PAX Indices.

Make a post with the pax numbers how you think they should be presented and a blurb explaining them and i'll paste it into the FAQ.

...have you looked at page 29? it's got every class index listed explicitly. I would hardly consider listing the indicies in our supp regs as buried.
