It's too bad those 275/15's won't fit under the front fenders if he wants to turn. Even with the stock 205/50/15s of my GLHS, you couldn't do tight turns. The tire rubs on the transaxle on right turns. Unless someone recently started producing clutch type diffs for the A555, his only choice is a Quaife or to modify an OBX Neon diff. And the guy talking about using the Lotus inspired head is off his rocker. That head is a POS! They crack entirely too easy. The MP computers don't really do all that much for the cars either. The Super 60 cam is also known for premature wear. Gary Donavon(guy with the 10sec K car) ran a 1988 TBI roller cam.
Now if James wants performance parts... my garage is full of them. Solid rear disk conversion, vented 11" rear disk conversion, minivan caliper (front) conversion, 11" front brake conversion, rear sway bar, Koni coilovers, T04E dual BB turbo, 52mm throttle body, 120amp denso alternator(stock 78amp is weak- headlights dim bad under boost), and the highly desired 2.2L T2 common block(yea for all factory forged internals).

I'm not an expert on the 2.2 stuff even though I owned one for 13 years. But I think that T2 block is also a special high nickel casting.

The T2 block is quite a bit stronger than the T1 block, but the common block is the strongest. Some guys in Canada ran a common block with the factory rods and crank in their Charger drag car. Last I heard, they were making in excess of 720hp with it. I'm not sure if a standard T2 block would hold that. In general, the T1 block fails between 250-300whp, the T2 block is reliable at 400whp, and the common block generally doesn't fail.

Don't worry, he'll probably only keep it long enough to win a Super Challenge on worn out Azenis...
